We have covered jobs all around BS4, including several jobs at Knowle Golf Club, just off West Town Lane, where there is a block of newly built apartments at the entrance. These, just like a lot of properties in Brislington had upvc doors. Recently, at a property on Wick Road, between Broomhill and St Annes, and less than 10 minutes from Arnos Vale, we were called out to attend to some upvc windows that needed urgent repairs. This customer left a couple of his windows open during storm Darragh, which included very strong wind, and unfortunately, this caused the friction hinges on both windows to bend and eventually snap. We were called out to carry out some upvc repairs and ended up replacing the friction hinges on both windows. We ensured the windows opened and closed perfectly and the locking mechanism was serviced too. The customer was very happy to see that there was no need for replacement windows, after calling another company, that insisted new windows would be needed.
